Ancient Pueblo (Anazazi) Bow

This bow is based on an actual Pueblo III period artifact recovered in southwest New Mexico. All pigments used for decoration are natural materials native to the region: red hematite, black charcoal, green malachite, and blue azurite.

 

  • 51″ in length

  • Fabrication time: 45 hours

  • Pull: 45 lbs at 21″ draw

  • Materials: hickory, deer sinew, deer leather, artificial sinew string

  • Round cross section

  • Diameter at grip 7/8″, diameter at tips 1/4″
